The air purifier takes in unfiltered air, runs it through the patent-pending UV disinfection module, and blows it to the front of the wearer’s face. The module purifies over 99% of breathable air but specific protection levels depend on a wearer’s activity and their environment. The device purifies up to 55l of air per minute – 4x more than the average resting human breathes.
Respiray’s patent-pending UV-C disinfection module has been independently tested by the University of Tartu and the University of Lodz, where it achieved over 99% effectiveness at inactivating different viruses and bacteria.
UV-C disinfection technology
