Product info
Valvoline Compressor Oil 46 is intended for the lubrication of air compressors and is produced from solvent neutral mineral oils of very low coke residue. Premium additive package that is selected to provide the highest performance, does not contain zinc. The ashless additive contains an antioxidant, anti-wear additives, anticorrosion additives as well as a de-emulsifier that allows good water separation.
Specially recommended for compressors intended for compression of air as well as other gases (nonaggressive), piston compressors, screw compressors, lamellar rotary compressors and vacuum pumps. It allows smooth operation even at high compressed-air temperatures and provides good
deposit control on equipment parts. They are also used as hydraulic fluids for the transmission of power and movement in all types of hydraulic systems at normal operating temperatures where the use of free-flowing oils as well as oils without zinc content.
